LUXEMBOURG, June 22 (Reuters) – Italy’s new finance minister
said on Friday he will aim at respecting European Union fiscal
rules to try to calm market jitters over the new Italian
government, but attacked a Franco-German plan to reform the
bloc’s banking sector.
