MILAN, June 26 (Reuters) – A row over the running of Italy’s
Banca Carige has led to the exit of its chairman, the
bank said on Tuesday, in the latest blow to its attempts to fix
its corporate governance.
“(Giuseppe Tesauro’s) resignation is motivated by divergences
arising from the bank’s governance and its management,”
Genoa-based Carige said in a statement.
