BERLIN, Feb 25 (Reuters) – German Chancellor Angela Merkel
confirmed on Sunday that she would promote Jens Spahn, a
prominent critic from within her conservative party, to the
cabinet, provided a coalition with the Social Democrats (SPD)
goes ahead.
