31 Oct China stocks gain for third straight day; policy support pledge boosts sentiment

third straight day on Thursday after the politburo, a top
decision-making body of the ruling Communist Party, announced
policy measures to support capital markets and the economy.

close at 2,602.78 while the blue-chip CSI300 index was up 0.74
percent.
