C$ pulls back from 3-month high as investors fret about oil pipeline prospects

The Canadian dollar weakened
against its U.S. counterpart on Tuesday after domestic data
showed a surprise drop in retail sales and as investors worried
that a minority government would make building of new oil
pipelines more difficult.
