20 Jan Australia shares likely to open flat, NZ down
Australian shares are set to open flat on
Wednesday as concerns over the spread of a new China virus are
expected to weigh on investor sentiment.
The local share price index futures fell 2 points,
a 60.3-point discount to the underlying S&P/ASX 200 index
close. The benchmark fell 0.2% on Tuesday.
New Zealand’s benchmark S&P/NZX 50 index fell 0.5%
by 2103 GMT.
