JAKARTA, Jan 29 (Reuters) – Indonesian lender BTPN
said on Monday it will conduct an assessment and technical
preparation “to begin the merger” with PT Bank Sumitomo Mitsui
Indonesia, a unit of Japan’s Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group
(SMFG).
