Japanese hotel chain Unizo
Holdings said on Sunday it had received a friendly
buyout offer from U.S. investment fund Lone Star, a deal that
could end a five-month takeover battle involving Blackstone
Group, Fortress Investment Group and activist investor
Elliott Management.
