VENTURA, Calif., Dec 8 (Reuters) – Exhausted fire crews made
little headway on Friday in containing the most troublesome of
six major wildfires burning in South California as dry winds
fanned flames that ravaged avocado farms, racehorse stables and
a retirement community.
