Mark Nordlicht, the founder of
defunct hedge fund firm Platinum Partners, was found guilty on
Tuesday of defrauding bondholders of an oil exploration company
Platinum controlled, but cleared of charges that he defrauded
investors in Platinum’s hedge funds.
