LONDON, July 5 (Reuters) – The world economy was in an
unusual position last year, posting “synchronized” growth for
the first time since the 2007-09 crisis. But there’s been no
synchronized tightening of monetary policy this year, and by
going it alone on raising interest rates the Fed risks hastening
the end of that cycle.
