VIX ‘fear gauge’ seen as incomplete measure of U.S. equities risk

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla., March 8 (Reuters) – The Cboe
Volatility Index, Wall Street’s so-called “fear gauge,”
does not give the full picture of investor sentiment and other
measures should be taken into account, speakers at a major
derivatives conference said this week.
